Weekend Beach Festival, Torre del Mar (Málaga)
July 5th-8th
Weekend Beach Festival in Torre del Mar is the ultimate vacation plan for four spectacular days of music right by the Mediterranean, offering all the services and comforts for attendees to have an unforgettable experience. The festival has now released the schedules for the four days across its four stages: Torremar Victoria, Weekend Negrita, Sunrise, and El Faro. Among the highly anticipated performances, there will be Latin star Maluma on Friday at 11:30 pm, British rockers Editors at 12:30 am on the same Friday, and DJ Joris Voorn closing the night. On Saturday, Swedish rock band Mando Diao will take the stage at 12:15 am, followed by Della-Fuente at 1:30 am. Recently, the festival surprised fans by announcing the addition of urban voice MO-RAD. With top-quality acoustics, innovative lighting systems, and high-resolution screens, the festival offers a memorable experience for the 40,000 daily attendees in the 38,000 m² concert venue and 90,000 m² camping site.
Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF), Marbella

The Reggaeton Beach Festival, one of the most important urban music events in Europe and the music festival that currently sells the most tickets in Spain, will reach 11 locations in its fifth edition and one of them will be Marbella, this July 8 and 9. Headlining is Ozuna (San Juan, 1992), the Puerto Rican superstar, interpreter of Tell me you love, I Think of You, and Monotonía – one of reggaeton icons for almost a decade. The concert will take place at Finca de la Caridad, a large 81,000 square meter space for events, located in Colonia San Pedro de Alcántara. The daytime schedule and activities are designed for the whole family: aquatic attractions, batucadas and parades, dance classes, Zumba. In its various spaces it also offers chill-out areas, food trucks with all kinds of gastro proposals, beauty, make-up, and hairdressing workshops, and a market with stands from small local businesses.
Brisa Festival, Málaga

Brisa Festival in Málaga will feature over 40 concerts, organized in collaboration with the Red Cross, and aims to showcase the local music scene. This year, the festival expands its program to include concerts in the Botanical Garden of La Concepción and ‘Brisa Studio,’ offering training sessions for the music industry. With performances by renowned artists like Chambao, Macaco, Love of Lesbian, and local talents, the festival celebrates the vibrant music culture of Málaga. Additionally, ‘Brisa en tu Barrio’ will bring live music to various venues throughout the city. The grand finale at Plaza de Toros de La Malagueta will feature exclusive concerts by Chambao and other acclaimed musicians. Brisa Festival supports the Red Cross and enjoys the support of various sponsors and collaborators.
Canela Party, Torremolinos

This wild, four-day indie rock festival takes place on the beachside of Torremolinos. Canela Party Festival is a unique and wild event that attracts a crowd of approximately 5,000 people dressed in outrageous costumes. Amidst the sea of attendees, you’ll spot characters like The Flintstones, Ned Flanders, Super Mario and King Arthur, as well as Joaquin Phoenix in his role as Theodore. Cary Grant has been seen escaping from an airplane, and De Jong and Xabi Alonso have partied together, despite their past soccer rivalry. Canela Party Festival boasts a lineup of 40 international bands that defy mainstream norms, all taking place in a festive atmosphere with stages named Fistro and Jarl. With its emphasis on costumes and playful antics, this festival has become a favorite for both bands and attendees alike, making them eager to return year after year.
Cala Mijas, Mijas
August 31st – September 2nd
Cala Mijas Festival returns for its second edition on the Costa del Sol, bringing together a vibrant mix of contemporary music and dance. From August 31st to September 2nd, 2023, the Sonora Mijas venue in Cortijo Colorado, Malaga, will come alive with an exciting lineup of classic Spanish artists and international indie bands. Headlining the festival is the iconic Florence and the Machine, led by the captivating Florence Welch. Known for their powerful and emotional performances, the band will grace the stage with their unique blend of indie rock and soulful vocals. Joining them are acclaimed acts such as Arcade Fire, Foals, and Idles, promising three days of electrifying music and live entertainment. Starlite Catalana Occidente, Marbella

Finally! Now in its eleventh year, the Starlite Catalana Occidente festival continues to reign supreme over the summer music scene in Marbella. With its bold claim of being ‘The Most Important Boutique Music Festival in the World’, this year’s lineup is nothing short of spectacular. The festival has already kicked off, treating audiences to incredible performances, but there is still a wide selection of artists yet to take the stage.
The legendary Seal (July 7th), known for his soulful voice and iconic hits, will grace the Starlite stage, alongside the infectious rhythms of the Gipsy Kings (July 8th), who will bring their flamenco-inspired sounds to the festival. Ricky Martin, in an exclusive Spanish performance on July 14th and 15th, will set the stage ablaze with his electrifying Latin pop anthems. The eclectic lineup also includes the dynamic Mika (July 26th), the mesmerizing Ludovico Einaudi (July 18th), the iconic Iggy Pop (August 2nd), and the chart-topping Black Eyed Peas (August 23rd), among many other talented artists.
