Villa Alcuzcuz is Marbella’s first avant-garde luxury house designed and built under Passive House regulations and standards. Just five minutes from the coast and ten minutes from Marbella, it is located in the gated community of the exclusive Reserva de Alcuzcuz, on the Ronda road.
In January 2021 Villa Alcuzcuz was sold.
Passive House is the world’s leading standard in energy efficient construction. The Passive House Standard means quality, comfort and energy efficiency, guaranteeing more than 75% saving on energy costs compared to a standard build.
At the 2019 European Property Awards Villa Alcuzcuz was awarded the 5-star prize for Spain, winning Best Architecture Single Residence, Spain. It then went on to win the coveted Best In Europe prize in the same category at the finals of the International Property Awards. Established in 1993 the these awards are recognised as the most prestigious in the world, covering the globe from Chile to China. They are judged by a panel of 80 international independent experts in all aspects of design and architecture, with an emphasis not only on design and innovation, but also on sustainability.
