The founder, Danny Buckross, visited BRIGHT’s office recently to learn more about Vista Lago Residences.

Can you tell us about the founding of Alexander Carmine Estates and what inspired its creation?

Alexander Carmine Estates was founded with the intention of bringing a passionate and unrivalled service to the real estate industry, drawing from 22 years in-house experience in sales, construction, energy efficiency and property development.

The company was named after my son, Freddie “Alexander Carmine” Buckross, who gives us the drive, inspiration and motivation every day to build a company that we are proud of and one that serves our clients in the best way possible. As a family-owned business, we prioritise personal connections and have a deep commitment to quality and service.

Given the recent rise in American buyers investing in Marbella properties, do you foresee this trend continuing?

Yes, I foresee this trend continuing and increasing. The travel interlinks are becoming stronger all the time with more direct flights than ever into Malaga from US destinations.

Marbella’s appeal as a luxury destination with a favourable climate and high-quality lifestyle attracts American investors. Additionally, the strong dollar and the increasing desire for international real estate diversification contribute to this trend. We expect continued interest from American buyers seeking prime properties in Marbella.

What other trends are you currently seeing in the real estate markets of the Costa del Sol, and in Jersey?

In the Costa del Sol, we are seeing a growing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly properties as buyers become more environmentally conscious. There is also an increasing interest in luxury developments with advanced amenities such as man made lakes, on site gyms, restaurants and security features. In Jersey, the market remains robust, with a steady demand for high-end residential properties driven by the island’s strong economy and appealing lifestyle. Both markets are experiencing a trend towards digitalisation, with more clients using online tools for property searches and virtual tours.

What is the most challenging part of your work? And the most satisfying?

The most challenging part of our work is navigating the complexities of different markets and meeting the diverse needs of our clients. However, this challenge is also what makes our work so satisfying. The most rewarding aspect is helping our clients find their dream homes and witnessing the joy and satisfaction it brings them.

We also love bringing new properties to market and creating a media story-board to promote the opportunity of a new home or investment with potential buyers.
