Set for completion in 2025, residents in Real de La Quinta and their guests will be able to enjoy a 36,000 m2 lake, around 420 metres long, with a beach and jetty where kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing and other waterborne activities can be enjoyed all year round. There will also be tennis and paddle tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, a children’s play area and a restaurant operated by the renowned Azotea Grupo, plus a Health & Wellness facility, run by Le Max Club. In addition, the complex will house a boutique hotel with 90 rooms. And of course, on top of all these amenities there will be an executive golf course designed by one of Spain’s most famous golfers.
These leisure features will all be interlinked by pathways adorned with several tree species to create a shade-dappled oasis within the forested landscape. Vista Lago residents, and their guests, can look forward to unparalleled leisure facilities right on their doorstep.
Designed under the strictest quality standards, the resort is certified under the BREEAM®URBANISM sustainability scheme, the first project of its type to obtain this certification in Spain.
The CEO of La Quinta Grupo Inmobiliario, Borja Pascual, said “We are very proud to be able to announce that Real de La Quinta will be a dream come true in 2025. A unique project on the Costa del Sol that will undoubtedly become a catalyst for the Málaga economy thanks to the attraction of tourists and foreign investors…”
The golf course, designed by Manuel Piñero, is made up of 6 holes: one par 5, three par 4s and two par 3s. Various configurations of tees and pin positions offers the option of playing a complete course of 18 holes. A sandy beach of 120 meters long will meet the lake next to a jetty which will be the focal point of access for all the water sports. On the southern side of the lake, residents can enjoy the pool area and tennis courts.
The El Lago Club building, designed by Alex Stewart & Partners and Paula Saco, follows the contour of the lake’s shoreline, seamlessly blending its timeless architectural design in such a manner that preserves the beautiful view of the waterfront. The implementation of an accessible integrated roof will allow one to complete a circular walk from the hotel to the golf course, all created using local vegetation and materials.
Azotea Grupo will be putting its signature flare to the gastronomy of El Lago Club, with a 248 m2 restaurant and cocktail bar, an indoor table area and a 900 m2 outdoor terrace. The group have proven their expertise through their renowned restaurants in Madrid, including Picalagartos Sky Bar & Restaurant in the heart of the Gran Vía and the Azotea del Círculo, in the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
Le Max Club will be operating the exclusive Health & Wellness centre within the residential complex, which will feature a 420 m2 fitness area with designated spaces for the latest health and fitness practices such as inferno hot pilates and bikram yoga as well as areas for cycling and running. A 200 m2 spa with Jacuzzi, heated pool, sauna, sensation showers and hammam is included, and residents can enjoy sports and beauty treatments to unwind and recharge.
There is also a large outdoor area where you can enjoy yoga, pilates, clay tennis, paddle tennis and crossfit. Alejandro Escudero, founder and CEO of Le Max, states that this will be “the most exclusive Health & Wellness experience in a privileged environment to come to Marbella”.
